踏入十一月淡季的首周,共有四部電影開畫,雖然其中兩部屬票價較高的3D電影,可是並未能刺激入座,結果整體票房收入達280萬,較上周下跌約5%,反映了新片於吸引力不足。
在一眾電影當中,仍是以九把刀執導霍士發行的《那些年,我們一起追的女孩》表現較為理想,電影於第三周首日略縮場5%後於54院映273場,仍錄得131萬的成績,票房雖然較上周四回落接近兩成,但第三周仍有每場近80人次已反映了其電影獲觀眾共鳴後翻看的情況,也為電影累積15天至3,464萬,相信可望於周末期間衝破四千萬大關。
同樣表現強橫的,還有安樂發行的印度電影《作死不離3兄弟》,在踏入第十周映期後雖然於13院只映36場,不過票房卻衝破十萬大關,更較上周四略為回升,更以每場43的人次贏盡各部新片,可見其口碑也可令電影繼續獲得觀眾捧場,觀乎該片累積64天達1,416萬,周日可望挑戰千五萬大關。
新開畫電影方面,以洲立發行的《三劍俠3D雙城暗戰》表現較為理想,電影首天於38院映181場,結果以44萬的成績名列第二,可是在3D票價較高的因素下,全日入場人次卻不足五千,每場人次也只有27左右。歐洲中古題材電影一般而言不易吸引香港觀眾,而觀乎《三》片的故事聽起來未見新意,而且演員組合未算吸引觀眾,也令即使大賣特技也未見起色。
同樣表現不佳的還有安樂作大型發行的《劏樓大盜》,首天安排於34院映167場下獲21萬的開畫數字,平均每場人次只有21左右。《劏》片由賓史迪拿及愛迪梅菲主演,前者主演電影在港表現飄忽,後者更成為近年香港的票房毒藥,卻不少觀眾因其演員組合卻步,即使在宣傳上卻是充足下亦無補於事。
相比之下,湯臣多年後重新發行與製作的首部電影《星空》安排於廿院作中型發行。電影屬於台灣導演林書宇改編幾米原著繪本之作,惟在演員組合上一般,令院線平均只安排三至四場上映下,首天映76場獲近11萬的成績,每場平均人次約在24左右。在過去幾米繪本改編如《向左走向右走》及《地下鐵》水準不佳,令觀眾對其改編有所戒心,加上電影於宣傳期急促下,如今的成績已算是有所交代。
至於本周的「砲灰」,則由寰宇發行的《夢遊3D》包辦,電影雖然以入圍東京國際電影節為名減價廿元,可是首天於30院映152場下,結果只獲得17萬的成績,每場人次只有16左右。《夢遊3D》是彭順的新作,可是去年同屬彭順執導及寰宇發行的《童眼3D》口碑極差,直接影響《夢遊3D》的表現。
其他電影方面,次周上映霍士發行的《潛逃時空》昨天在縮場三分一後於40院映146場,票房回落五成至31萬,累積八天至565萬,以電影整體而言還算不差。反觀同日開畫由王晶與葉念琛各執一個短編合約的《猛鬼愛情故事》只餘七院映15場,昨天票房萬二,累積八天只有53萬的成績,看來票房表現比電影更加嚇人。寰亞發行的《奪合金》昨天於24院映60場仍收七萬,累積達749萬,看來最終票房在八百萬以下,而上映29天的《鐵甲鋼拳》昨天映27場錄得四萬九千,觀乎累積達1,857萬下,且看能否突破千九萬大關。

Sorry, but I hugely disagree with this above statement. That is a very subjective opinion whether those movies are good or bad, and has nothing to do with 《星空》’s box office potential. For the record, I like 《向左走向右走》, I don’t think it is bad. Also, please do not become Mr Shtmanhk and make pointless comparisons from movies released so long ago. We are looking at current box office trends. If you are so keen to do this comparison, then you should deemed this 幾米 adaptation to be flopping badly, instead of your so-called “如今的成績已算是有所交代”, simply because the movie benefitted but also hurt from the on-going success of its fellow Taiwanese movie 《那些年,我們一起追的女孩》, which is making a hugely historic run now, shattering all kinds of expectations.

《作死不離3兄弟》has become the unlikely movies HK audiences are rallying behind. It will probably takes the next big Hollywood movie to finally halt 《那些年,我們一起追的女孩》’s momentum with huge screen cuts. I don’t think none of these movies has great repeat viewing worthiness though, but happy for those who do and support ‘independent’ movies. Top grossing Chinese movie title of recent years will be a great achievement, let’s see if this rallying statement can push their grosses to respective heights of HK$45 million and HK$25 million.
Back to 《星空》, I am not sure if it will find its audience at this moment. Our audience focus are on those two rallying movies. Its grosses are not strong enough for a sustained run unless it can pull off another surprise like 《作死不離3兄弟》. 林書宇 is a worthwhile director, but I am sure his movies are more quiet and less mass market, meaning facing the more energetic rallying movies a bit of a disadvantage. Here is hoping it can cross HK$2 million.
《潛逃時空》has a standard 2nd week dropoff for a Hollywood movie. It still has the potential to surpass 《奪命金》, but both should barely hit HK$8 million. It was disappointing that 《奪命金》posted a lackluster late run, but this is basically due to direct comparison to《竊聽風雲2》. It still will finish with a respectable gross.
3D is definitely dead for lesser movies,
《三劍俠3D雙城暗戰》?? Why bother? However《夢遊3D》was not killed only because of that. Now you are right to compare 《童眼3D》which is only from last year. Audience fatigue for fright movies also hurt.
Finally, 《劏樓大盜》truly disappointed. There is no blame for its low opening, as this one stars the more recognizable but not always HK-bankable Ben Stiller, and it is not even a romantic comedy, although American comedies has bee flopping badly.
