周四共有七部電影開畫，雖然看起來像是十分熱鬧，可是七部電影的吸引力均偏弱，在沒有一部能獲逾25的每場人次下，也令全日票房跌至181萬水平，成績可謂不佳。
在一眾開畫電影當中，以聯合發行的《異種2011》表現相對較佳，電影首天於34院映169場獲26萬的成績，不過若以每場25來看的話，開畫成績較一眾已上映電影為低。《異種2011》屬近期較為缺乏的驚悃題材，然而其「異種」的片名卻予人一種只是拿著舊有系列重拍而沒有入場意欲，也直接令其開畫成績不佳。
愛情題材由安樂發行的《戀搞好朋友》首天32院映157場，不過票房則只有17萬左右，每場人次約在18左右，入座情況與上周開畫同類題材的《翻兜有情郎》相若，也許反映了兩部電影題材相若吸引觀眾相若情況下相近上映，造成了兩敗俱傷的現象。得利發行由尼古拉斯基治主演的《潛行公義》採納了13院52場的中型發行，首天錄得六萬四千的成績，成績只是不過不失，也反映了近年尼古拉斯基治主演的電影續在港未有票房表現可言。泛亞發行的《知味人生》首天安排於百老匯電影中心與Palace IFC共映八場，結果錄得票房九千，相比起其他小型發行電影而言表現偏弱，周末或會被縮場。
相比起外語電影來說，本周開畫的華語電影在題材上或款式上予人內地色彩濃厚，在觀眾對有關款式抗拒之下全線錄得近乎仆直的成績。當中邱禮濤執導起用《葉問前傳》班底的《競雄女俠秋瑾》首天於21院映71場僅收五萬一千，全日人次僅剛過千。電影起用的演員組合香港成分較少，加上有關素材對香港觀眾而言感覺遙遠，令其票房不佳。而同樣題材難惹來香港觀眾共鳴，由陳嘉上執導及洲立發行的《畫壁》首天於15院映64場，結果僅能錄得二萬八千的成績，每場人次更只達個位數字。然而，其敗的程度還不及寰亞發行的《夏日樂悠悠》，電影於24院映達109場下，結果開畫只有二萬八千，每場人次不足五人。《夏》片以馬楚成十多年前的《夏日的麼麼茶》延續篇作賣點，可是即使在馬來西亞拍攝也好，仍予人感覺內地味濃，加上續篇只予人「食老本」之味，令觀眾對該片毫無興趣。
在一眾新片票房不佳之下，次周上映由迪士尼發行的《鐵甲鋼拳》繼續擊倒對手，昨天於43院映216場下仍錄得59萬的成績，入場人次在一萬上下，累積則達892萬，觀乎電影的初步反應算是不俗，周末可望衝破千萬大關。至於國慶檔期的《特務戇J之救國大業》繼續表現理想，第三周於37院映148場下獲票房27萬，累積15天達2,212萬，相信電影可望挑戰二千五百萬大關。而安樂發行的印度電影《作死不離3兄弟》仍然堅挺，昨天於14院映44仍達15萬，每場人次更成為全日之冠，也為電影在上映43天後達980萬，可望於今天或明天衝破千萬大關，成為了今年的票房奇葩。
港片方面，名威發行的《蜜桃成熟時33D》次周雖然只剩6院上映，但26場卻獲六萬八千的成績，當中新寶旗下四院獲逾萬五票房，但紅磡寶石及尖東華懋卻分別只有四百八十及一千三百多的成績，累積八天則達186萬，以新寶旗下四院的「鼎力支持」下，也許電影最終只能衝破二百萬大關，成績也許令人失望。

《異種2011》英文片名是THE THING,1982年THE THING”怪形”曾在香港公映,由卻羅素主演,當年是”異形ALIEN”之後的電影.
異種是SPECIES,現在《異種2011》片名又叫”異種”的確是有問題的.
早前COWBOYS AND ALIENS譯成”天煞西部反擊戰”也是有不妥當的.

總覺得現在的香港華語片電影人拍電影沒有了熱情, 電影題才少, 不斷抄冷飯, 冷飯的水準比以前差很遠, 好口碑的電影越來越少, 同一班香港導演, 20年前拍的港產片比現在拍的合拍片好看多了.
拍合拍片/中國片雖然有很多局限, 但好像馮小剛, 張藝謀, 姜文, 陳凱歌, 寧浩等內地導演也可以拍出很多好片 (雖然不一定合香港人口味), 為什麼香港的導演卻退步了, 保守了,甚至比內地導演更保守. 這二年的情況至為明顯, 連陳可辛, 陳嘉上, 張之亮, 袁和平, 程小東等大導演的影片也口碑不佳, 縱然部份片在內地票房也可以, 但內地觀眾也是彈多於讚, 香港人更失去了看這些片的興趣.

If you want to point out that the current crop of Chinese language movies all flop and want to conclude that their quality and genres hurt their box office, bare in mind that Hollywood also made their fair share of bad movies each year.
Anyway, perhaps this topic is worthy of opening a new thread for further discussion, but not here.

A lot of interesting things happen yesterday.
《鐵甲鋼拳》witnessed one of the most impressive legs displayed by a mainstream Hollywood movie all of this year, dropping only 28% Thursday-Thursday. With extremely weak competition ahead, this one could register a multiplier as high as 20 times its opening Thursday of HK$820K and finish with HK$16.4 million, meaning it may gross higher than Hugh Jackman’s own WOLVERINE. We’ll see.
《作死不離3兄弟》, on its 7th Thursday, managed to register another uptick, by grossing HK$150K, which is 25% higher than last Thursday, which in turn already matched its previous best non-holiday boosted Thursday of HK$120K. It is very difficult to predict where this movie will end.
《特務戇J之救國大業》actually dropped an ok 57% from last Thursday, and it will most definitely cross HK$25 million.
However, there are way more bad news at the box office. There are definitely way too many movies competing againt each other.
Can anybody tell how many movies with scary/horror elements opened since August’ FINAL DESTINATION 5? Certainly《異種2011》is not going to make any miracles, at least it did not do overly poor. All these movies will finish with around HK$2-4 million, while 大白鯊3D食人夜 is boosted by 3D.
《夏日樂悠悠》could have done better if AngelaBaby was at her height of fame or the movie was released during the summer, but after witnessing the high number of screenings, I am not sure what our exhibitors were thinking.
Another movie that should have opened during summer was 《戀搞好朋友》. The good news is that it manages to open higher than 《翻兜有情郎》despite being 3 months older as well as underperforming during sneak previews, but HK$170K is still really terrible given that cast, as it opened over 50% lower than Natalie Portman’s similar NO STRINGS ATTACHED (HK$360K) earlier this year post Valentine.
《翻兜有情郎》dropped 80% from last Thursday, and I am sure 《戀搞好朋友》will suffer another big drop when next week’s darkhorse movie YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE opens.
The Autumn movie season is really terribly scheduled, with far too many Hollywood comedies and far too many scary movies, and I am sure this is because of big budget Hollywood movies over-dominating screens in the summer, leading to many movies delaying their release until now. This must stop next year!!

結果不但沒有令我失望
反而有驚喜
化特技的造型完全達到恐佈核突的迫真效果
勝過現今的 CG 電腦效果 .呢樣最抵讚

Sometimes a nicely named movie title can make a huge difference, but lately I think there are creative fatigue among movie marketing people.
Nevermind about 《異種2011》as the original SPECIES was from 1995 already, and the marketing people probably think people cannot remember the original 1982 movie.
What about 《戀搞好朋友》? It may sound clever, but it also degrades the movie.
Most of the time, poorly titled movies do their part in hurting box office, and it is definitely showing yesterday.

前天看第3次”3 idiots”, 仍然全院滿座, 一定過千萬, 更希望增加院線, 特別是UA與MCL, 必定可以延至聖誕期, 甚至過二千萬!!!!
如果這願望可以實現便好了, 因實在仍有朋友未看, 原因是院線不能配合他們呢!

Wow seeing the movie 3 times while the movie is already out elsewhere, way to go. I salute an honest customer!! Really.
It is still very tough to see the movie despite adding more and more screens already, mostly not just because the movie is very long with limited number of shows, but because Broadway/AMC/Palace has no theatres on half of Hong Kong Island and half of New Territories.
Next week will be even more interesting as 那些年, 我們一起追的女孩 could become another darkhouse for Broadway, as Saturday previews are stunningly strong.
